Kerry & Rusty June 2007

Kerry & Rusty had a beautiful church wedding followed by a very very nice outdoor reception at their neighbors home. Kerry & Rusty are quite a pair and enjoy clowning around as you can see from some of their pictures here.

Charlene & Joe 2007

Charlene & Joe, my first 'out-of-state' wedding. Well,...not that far out of state, just to Pittsburgh, PA. Pittsburgh is an interesting place to visit. Driving through the towns, you can see in some areas where there was once a booming industry and now no more. A lot of old buildings and such. I would love to go back one weekend just to hang out, spend more time, and take pictures of the old towns.

Caitlin & Ben October 2009

I remember Caitlin & Ben's wedding very well. Just like her sister, Caitlin and Ben had a traditional church wedding. Their reception was held at the beautiful Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville, MD. The mansion itself and the grounds had so many places for us to photograph Caitlin and Ben (even with the little rain) as you can see. We had such a great time and then meeting back at Caitlin's parents house later to party a little more. A long day, but a great one too.

Maria & Herbert August 2010

Yesterday, August 8th, I was running errands in the morning as usual when a friend telephoned and asked if I had time to photography a wedding. I had plans later in the day, my camera gear was packed and ready, soI said yes to help out a couple in need. I had the wonderful pleasure of first meeting the bride, Maria. Both Maria and her husband-to-be, Herbert, were unaware that a relative had contracted a photographer at the last minute to photograph their wedding.
When the limo pulled up to the church to deliver Maria, instead of him helping her out of the limo, she was greeted by me, shaking her hand, congratulating her and telling her, "Surprise, I'm your photographer for your wedding". It was a small, simple church wedding but before their reception, I followed the limo the Rockville Civic Center in Rockville, MD. We found a nice garden to take some special moments of Maria and Herbert.
Both Maria and Herbert were very happy, and here are some of the images taken.

Congratulations Maria and Herbert!

Not only are engagement photo sessions a fun way for the couple to announce their upcoming wedding but also for the photographer(s) to get more acquainted with the couple. On location photo sessions help the couple to relax and just be themselves.
Gloria and Arvid met us in Annapolis, Maryland, a beautiful historic town. We walked some of the streets, talked a little about Annapolis (and what I knew...no I'm not a historian), and pointed out some favorite places that on another day when it's just them they could check out on their own.
They are such a sweet couple and I and my partners are looking so forward to their wedding day.
Congratulations Gloria and Arvid.

P.S. If you're ever in Annapolis and looking for a nice, light yet fulfilling lunch, I suggest you check out Sofi's Crepes....delicious!
