DOUBLE MATERNITY!

What can be better than sister-in-laws being pregnant at the same time?  Well I'm sure everyone who sees this has a better answer. However, when you're me and you get to photograph them together, well.....it's a lot of fun.  Also a big shout out to The Round Barn in Pennsylvania for letting us go out into one of their orchards to photograph.  Such a beautiful place to visit and some really, really great produce.  So enough of me talking, here they are, first time mommy's (and daddy's) to be.  Enjoy!

MY FAVORITE RED HEAD!!

Yes, Aspen is my favorite red head from West Virginia.  I first met Aspen when she came to Maryland with her mother and our (adopted) daughter, Chrissy.  Well, this time 'I' was in West Virginia for Chrissy's baby shower.  Before the baby shower was over, Aspen and I walked up a block and then back down and took some quick pictures.  From the first time I met her and asked, to this time to take pictures, she always says, "yes".  I especially like it when I see something and then say, "Aspen, do you want to have a little fun?"  She automatically says yes.  The lamppost picture was our 'fun' picture.  Enjoy!

A Visit from Baby A!

What a beautiful little boy to spend the weekend with.  After one day, he let me hold him and walk outside to collect the mail (I guess it's that 'grandma' thing).  Hopefully with their next visit, dad won't be too busy and we can get some nice family pictures for them.

A return visit with the G-family.  Keeping it simple with the family pictures, but the girls,... .  If this crazy July weather would've been in our favor, I could have played and photography the girls for the remainder of the day.  I had the pleasure of finishing up this session with a shirt pocket full of stones that they collected.  That's what happens when you're on their level but all-in-all, it was fun.  I really enjoy following children around and photographing them.  Hopefully in the Fall we'll have a longer session.

Another family over Mother's Day Weekend.  Of course this is my daughter's family and my two grandchildren.

Mother's Day Weekend 2013.

My daughter, her family, and I traveled to Butler, Pennsylvania to visit family and of course, take family pictures.  My nephew works on a farm just an hour away and what better place to take family pictures than a farm.  The weather tested us a little with some cool air and winds but all of us had a great time.  I've already put the buzz in my niece's ear about fall family pictures on the farm.  I can already see all of the colorful trees with a wonderful family again.

Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson, MD is a beautiful place to photograph families, children, or just nature.  Today the G-Family and I were at the entrance of Sugarloaf Mountain.  The girls were so cute in their 'tutu' dresses.  What more can I say?  The looks on their faces say it all.
